Lauren Lau is a member of the Asia Technology, Data and Cyber Security team based in our Hong Kong office.
Lauren supports clients on data protection, artificial intelligence, cyber security, technology transactions and commercial contracts. She assists with technology procurement, contract review and multi-jurisdictional regulatory analysis, helping clients understand legal and compliance issues in a clear and practical way.
Lauren has worked with clients across the technology, financial services, aviation, insurance, retail and consumer sectors. Her experience includes data protection compliance projects, AI regulatory and governance advisory, technology procurement and outsourcing transactions, contract review projects, multi-jurisdictional market-entry projects, data and cyber incident response, and more.
Lauren works as part of wider client teams to provide practical support on commercial and regulatory matters, including issues that arise when businesses procure technology, handle data or assess new digital initiatives.
