Eversheds Sutherland advises Saudi Telecom Company on landmark agreement for space-based cellular broadband connectivityDecember 22, 2025 Eversheds Sutherland, together with Mohammed AlDhabaan & Partners Eversheds Sutherland, has advised Saudi Telecom Company (“STC”) on its commercial arrangements with AST SpaceMobile, Inc. (“AST”) to deliver space-based cellular broadband services directly to everyday devices. This pioneering arrangement leverages first-of-its-kind satellite telecommunications technology to enhance digital access and connectivity across the Kingdom and beyond. The transaction underscores STC’s leadership in driving innovation and reflects the strength of our strategic relationship with one of Saudi Arabia’s most influential companies. The Eversheds Sutherland team advised on all legal aspects of the transaction, including drafting and negotiating the principal contractual documentation under a critical timeline.
