Sebastian Iagrossi advises clients on the state and local tax (SALT) consequences of their various business transactions.
He is experienced in multistate taxation issues, including income, franchise, sales and use, and property taxes. Sebastian’s pro bono practice includes assisting immigration clients through the asylum process.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Sebastian was an associate at a global law firm where he assisted clients with executive compensation and employee benefits due diligence and prepared due diligence memos for clients on M&A deals. He also reviewed executive compensation and employee benefits provisions of merger agreements. During law school he served as a law student representative for two years in the UConn Law Income Taxpayer Clinic; assisting taxpayers with problems before the Internal Revenue Service and Connecticut Department of Revenue Services. Sebastian also served as a research assistant to Professor Richard Pomp, a leading expert in state and local taxation, for three years.
