Anna Wendel Thoms serves as a Principal Associate at our Stockholm office, where she specializes in private mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate law. She has been practicing law since 2015 and joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2021.
Anna Wendel Thoms possesses expertise in both domestic and international transactions, with a particular focus on private M&A that frequently involves cross-border elements. She is adept at providing comprehensive guidance throughout the M&A process, skillfully leading transactions from their inception to successful completion.
Anna adopts a client-focused and strategic approach to each transaction. She is committed to identifying key value drivers and potential risks early in the process, ensuring that her clients are well-informed and prepared to make critical decisions.
Among the transactions that Anna has recently handled are Pollen Street Capital’s acquisition of the Assessio group from Main Capital, and subsequent add-ons, Tenneco’s sale of Öhlins Racing to Brembo N.V., Semper’s/Hero Group’s sale of its gluten free business as well as their factory in Götene, and USNR’s acquisition of Sågteknik.
Beyond her M&A work, Anna regularly advises on general corporate matters, including restructurings, incentive programs, and capital raisings. She also holds the position of Head of Company Secretarial Services in the Stockholm office.
Anna is actively involved in educational initiatives, delivering lectures both internally and externally on corporate law and M&A topics. Her academic credentials include legal education in Sweden and the UK, complemented by an MBA from Pareto Business School.
